Bringing Color Back to Power Washed Brick in Youngstown
A power washer had taken the color out of areas of the brick on this house. The mason who laid the wall hired the correction, not the owner. It was photographed again nineteen years later and certified then.
2002
What was wrong
Powerwash damage. Pressure had pulled color out of the face of the brick in patches, so the wall read as blotchy rather than as one range. Nothing had failed.
What was done
Mineral stain, worked into the areas that had been stripped. The file records it as a color enhancement of the damaged areas rather than a treatment of the whole elevation.

What nineteen years prove
The gable with the round louver vent is in both sets, nineteen years apart, and in 2021 the face reads as one range. On the certification scale that is Gold, which covers fifteen years and over. As of 2026 the work is twenty-four years old, and the 2021 certification is the most recent record on it.
The signed file
Every certified job gets the same form, signed on the day someone goes back to the building. This is the one for case 410, transcribed beside the scan so it can be read on a phone and by a search engine.
