Correcting Power Wash Damage on an Ohio Brick Home
A power washer took the color out of part of the brick on this house. The mason who had laid the wall hired the correction in 2002. It was photographed again seventeen years later and certified then.
2002
What was wrong
The file gives it in one line: some of the brick on this home was ruined by a power washer. The 2002 frame shows where. A line is marked down the gable in steps, and the courses inside it read pale and flat against the brick beyond it.
What was done
Mineral stain, brushed on by hand across the damaged areas. The work was under way in July 2002: the van in the Before frame carries a burned-in camera date of 7 28 '02.

What seventeen years prove
Same gable, same courses, one range from the rake boards down. The file is even handed about it: not the worst power wash damage that we've seen, but enough to upset the homeowners. The form marks Platinum. As of 2026 the work is twenty-four years old.
The signed file
Every certified job gets the same form, signed on the day someone goes back to the building. This is the one for case 290, transcribed beside the scan so it can be read on a phone and by a search engine.
