Color Correcting Three Sides of a Mason, Ohio Home
The brick on this house went up with off colored, blotchy areas across the walls. The brick manufacturer paid to have three of the four sides color corrected rather than rebuilt. It was photographed again fourteen years later and certified then.
2007
What was wrong
Off colored blotchy areas on the house, in the file's words. Nothing had failed. The brick was sound and the walls were up; the color simply ran uneven across them. The brick manufacturer hired the correction, not the owner.
What was done
Mineral stain, worked into the brick by hand. Three of the four sides of the house were color corrected to get a good match throughout the home. The two 2007 frames carry camera dates one day apart.
2021, fourteen years on
What fourteen years prove
Same gable end, same window, one range across the wall. On the certification scale that is Silver, which covers ten years and over. As of 2026 the work is nineteen years old, and the 2021 certification is the most recent record on it.
The signed file
Every certified job gets the same form, signed on the day someone goes back to the building. This is the one for case 041, transcribed beside the scan so it can be read on a phone and by a search engine.
