Color Enhancing Severe Powerwash Damage on a New Home
Severe powerwash damage on the new brick of a two-story house, corrected in 1996 for the mason who built it. Photographed again in 2021, twenty-five years on, and certified Platinum.
1996
What was wrong
The file uses three words: severe powerwash damage. The 1996 frames show the house still on bare graded ground, its brick streaked and blotched.
What was done
Mineral stain. The form records it in one line: the damaged areas were color enhanced. Stain soaks into the face of the unit, so the correction weathers with the wall. How that works on a house is on the residential page.
2021, twenty-five years on
What twenty-five years prove
The form calls this some of the worst powerwasher damage the file had seen at the time, and reports that it still looks great all these years later. Twenty years and over is Platinum on the certification scale. The 2021 frame carries the stamp. As of 2026 the work is thirty years old.
The signed file
This is the signed form for case 378, transcribed beside the scan so a phone and a search engine can read it.
