Matching Repair Brick Under the Windows in Fishers

A run of brick under the windows on this two-story house did not match the wall around it. The mason who built it hired the correction: some units lightened, some darkened, until the patch sat with its neighbours. It was photographed again twelve years later and certified then.

What was wrong

Nothing had failed and nothing was dirty. The trouble was under the windows, where a run of brick sat off the color of the wall around it. The file puts it in seven words: there were off-colored brick under the windows. Under Hired by, the form marks Mason/Contractor, so the trade that laid the wall is the one that called it in.

What was done

Mineral stain, brushed on by hand, unit by unit. Not one tone over the whole run: some brick were lightened and others darkened until the patch read as wall. The line in the file is twelve words: we had to lighten and darken the brick for a better match.

What twelve years prove

Same house, same windows, and the repair still reads as wall. The file makes the case itself: the repairs under the window is a good test because a lot of water catches at those points. On the certification scale that is Silver, which covers ten years and over. As of 2026 the work is nineteen years old, and the 2019 certification is the most recent record on it.

The signed file

Every certified job gets the same form, signed on the day someone goes back to the building. This is the one for case 303, transcribed beside the scan so it can be read on a phone and by a search engine.
