Blending Blotchy Walls on an Indiana Hospital
The walls on this hospital went up blotchy. A day and a half of hand work brought the lower three fourths of the wall into one range. It was photographed again twenty-three years later and certified then.
1996
What was wrong
Nothing had failed and nothing was dirty. The units did not agree with each other, so the wall read in patches beside the brick around it. The file puts it in four words: the walls were blotchy.
Two parties are marked as hiring it, the mason or contractor and the brick manufacturer. Neither paid. The file records one and a half days on the wall and no payment for any of it, on the same sheet that certifies the result.
What was done
Mineral stain, brushed in by hand, unit by unit. The correction ran both directions, some units lightened and some darkened, across the lower three fourths of the wall. The phrase in the file is to create a better blend.

What twenty-three years prove
Same wall, and a face that still holds one range from the coping down to the ground. On the certification scale that is Platinum, which covers twenty years and over. As of 2026 the work is thirty years old, and the 2019 certification is the most recent record on it.
The signed file
Every certified job gets the same form, signed on the day someone goes back to the building. This is the one for case 089, transcribed beside the scan so it can be read on a phone and by a search engine.
